Yoga @ the Gallery

Tuesdays from October 1 to December 3 - 4:45 pm to 6 pm

Join yoga instructor Leah Carnahan for a weekly somatic yoga class in the Reid Gallery. Her heartfelt classes are best described as welcoming, inspiring, safe, playful, grounding, and peaceful. Leah feels that a balance of movement and stillness together brings a natural inspiration to every moment. While she facilitates gentle movement, she encourages those around her to listen to their inmost voice and make the postures their own. She feels that loving acceptance of the moment as it is and of yourself as you are, allows for the most rewarding practice.

Civic Arts Grants

Apply by October 25, 2024

Artists, collectives, and arts organizations are invited to submit applications for the 2024 Civic Arts Grant program. Supported by the City of Grand Forks, funding is available for research, creation, promotion, and production of arts and culture projects in any medium. Application forms are available online at gallery2grandforks.ca. Prospective applicants are encouraged to participate in a grant application workshop on September 24.
