Janet Trerise

I grew up in North Vancouver and went to Handsworth Secondary School in the 1970’s.  I married Randy Trerise and we moved to a tiny town called Midway in the Boundary area of the Southern Interior. I have lived in the Boundary for the past 33 years, 19 in Midway and now the past 14 in Grand Forks.  When we moved to Grand Forks I took a pottery course at Selkirk College and explored my artistic side doing pottery, making bent willow furniture and all sorts of crafts.  In the fall of 2009, I took a watercolour painting course with Pat McNish through Selkirk College.  I was taken away to a new world of art and painting and since then, my garden, my travels around the world and nature have been my inspiration for my watercolours.
