Catherine Wetmore

Catherine has painted most of her life starting in high school. She attended Banff School of Fine Arts and completed her Fine Arts Degree at UBC. She grew up living in mining camps across Canada and currently resides in Trail. She is a believer in God’s creation of this wonderful world and is an avid environmentalist. These aspects of her life greatly influence the subject matter of her paintings. She works in various mediums and loves the physical act of painting – the playing with materials.
