Abstract

Bev Harcus

Bev studied graphic and visual design and has created artwork for television. She won a gold award in 2000 for her work on the Knowledge Network. Bev has taught computer graphics courses at several universities including BCIT. “My works are an exploration in colour and illusion. I am always in awe of nature and how so many living things depend on colour and illusion. If you look at many of my paintings you will see little faces peering out. I like to paint these in as a reminder of the multitudes of life forms there are in nature, many existing outside our range of visions, many unseen and simply camouflaged.”
