At times I have a difficult time to come up with a title of the painting. What I am comfortable with is to state the obvious: Girl in Purple Stockings, Old Croft by the Sea, Flies.
The painting itself, the event in front of us, that we happen to witness is a visual reality, and what else is hidden and latent is up to us to ponder about and discover for ourselves.
Visual art is a great quiet companion, that doesn’t puff steam, doesn’t ring bells. It’s speeding up and slowing down demonstrates itself quietly, noiseless. I would like to keep it that way.
