Engage in Art at Gallery 2 @ Gallery 2 Grand Forks Art Gallery
Feb 16 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Please join us Saturday, February 16th for a fun day of Family art activities for you and your children. (Children must be attended by an adult.)
On the main floor, the Heritage Gallery will transform into a multi-faceted art studio where participants have the opportunity to try their hand at various art mediums and explore their own creativity. Children and parents alike will be able to create an age appropriate “make and take” piece of art with the guidance of one of the Facilitators.
Tour the current exhibition with Deborah Thompson’s Pan-dulum: A call to Unreason, Stephanie Kellett’s ReWilding: fire starter and Grand Forks Modern – Works from Permanent Collection through an orchestrated and entertaining Scavenger Hunt. You can further participate in a guided exercise in stencil making with a local professional artist that investigates and speaks to the method of which Deborah Thompson exhibit created her work.
There will be hot chocolate, coffee and snacks!
We hope to see you there!
This is a drop in Free Event.
